The Collaborative at Encore Dance Studio

Our competitive team, The Collaborative, has been busy displaying their talents on stages from Atlantic City, NJ to Myrtle Beach, SC. The members of The Collaborative have won accolades in all parts of the competitive circuit and still have two competitive events left in the season. Our team still has opportunities to shine in Baltimore MD, and Washington D.C. and will be training harder than ever in the coming weeks for their final two events.

Furthermore, our Collaborative dancers will be wrapping up their competitive season and preparing for their local end of the year Showcase Performance. The Collaborative Showcase will be held on Sunday, May 15 at Clover Hill High School at 2:00pm. This is a performance you won’t want to miss! Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 10am - showclix.com.

As the current season comes to an end, many of our dancers will be staying prepared for yet another exciting year of dance and will continuing to nurture their growth and talent in their dance journey. We will be making some much need improvements to our class scheduling and the curriculum offered to the Collaborative dancers.

We are continuing to search for new dancers to welcome to our programs on all levels. If you or your dancer would like to know more about the benefits of competitive dance and the camaraderie our teams offer, we would love to talk to you! We are currently forming a new team for dancers ages 5-8, so it is never “too early” to learn more about competitive dance. Our competitive director, Angelina Gallo, is available to discuss competitive options with you and your dancer.  She can be reached at angel@encorestudio.com

We will also be posting the audition dates for our Season VI. We would love to dance with you, so feel free to reach out to Miss Angel or call the studio for more information.

Where dancers of all ages will be inspired, nurtured, and treated with respect.

I can’t imagine her dancing anywhere else! I love that class placement is based on the dancer’s ability and not strictly by age.

— Melissa King, Meriko’s (“Koko”) Mom

These last few years at Encore Studio have truly been a blessing. She is learning so many valuable life lessons — teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and humility.

Since that first Little Dancers class, I have watched my tiny, shy, toddler grow into a confident, outgoing young lady.
